The Dayton Flyers used a strong defensive effort for 40 minutes to run past the Delaware State Hornets, 62-42, at the University of Dayton Arena. The win gave the Flyers their second on the season, but more importantly, gave head coach Brian Gregory his 100th win of his career.

After opening the season on Sunday with a rather unimpressive win over Wofford, the Dayton Flyers will play host to the MEAC's Delaware State Hornets. It will already be the fourth game of the season for the visitors, who are in the middle of a torrid roadtrip.
